Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone is well and that the snow is jolly rather than a problem for you. I spent a few days up in Edinburgh just now and it was beautiful, although it was a lot of fun getting back as the trains were askew. Braved Arthur’s Seat for well, you know… 
As you can see @thesignedphoto has had a bit of an accident. I slipped on the icy path and fell on him. New glass is a’coming. It won’t be the same though…

Are we related? Wouldn’t that be a scream! I was born in Toronto to Scottish parents with many cousins back in Scotland. I just signed on to Facebook and will try to get some photos on soon. I just made contact with my nephews who I haven’t spoken to in several years(one is a Professor at Columbia in New York, his brother is in stand-up sketch comedy in Toronto).
How about you, any relatives over here? We must have some connection.?
We are busy here in Vancouver preparing for the 2010 Winter Olympics. The explosion of cultural events and venues have the city buzzing with excitement. There are many visitors from Scotland, Ireland, England, Russia, Finland, Italy, …It’s a great time. Well I just thought I would make contact with a fellow Anna Black, (I was named after my parent’s best friend)
