“Gothenburg… we have a problem…”
“It must be the rather nightmarish bespoke intro again… “

Join Anna LIVE from Kilburn, London for 2.43597  hours of retro micro computer comedy fun and owl based chat on SLAY Radio (the home of Commodore 64* remixes)

This week it’s #C64WEEK \o/ #C64WEEK (Facebook Group) \o/ and we have plenty of jolly chat about all the fun things that have been happening. We also have new tracks galore with tunes from Mordi and Chronberg. There is news of the SLAYRadio gathering this weekend and other things of a retro computer nature!

This LIVE presentation was besieged by technical gremlins in Sweden and the amazing performing Annabot just keeps going in the face of jumpy spider audioblop! So this show, is a jigsaw show, was stitched together offline and tidied up for your added delectation and amusement, with every request of note played at the end!

Anorak – you know it makes no sense! Especially when it lasts 3 days!

* Commodore 64 = a home computer from the 1980/90′s which contains a most impressive sound chip

** SID = Sound Interface Device (the aforementioned most impressive sound chip and also shorthand for a tune prepared on the aforementioned Commodore 64)

*** this show contains singing and/or extra owls…

An improvised silly film I made a few years ago in the hub of jolly fun which is Kentish Town. It’s to “Crazy Comets” by Rob Hubbard – one of the best Commodore 64 music composers of all time. It was also raining. Music courtesy of C64Audio.com / B+W / 2 mins 6 secs

Anna + Commodore 64 = 8BSCSS_1

The original episode from 2006 which contains the most interestingly different presenter skills, non sequential music selection, and low-fi photocopied back drop, ever put together over a number of afternoons. We meet Benchy for the first time in the beautiful Surrey countryside, listen to jolly owls and regardé many silly clips from various films including the casualty award winning “Anti-freeze”!

All lovingly restored from original footage with extra falling over, beefed up C64 SID music and a rather funky new ending!

Hoopla!
