It’s World Cup time again! Please find this rather apt Commodore 64 treasure – “Italy 1990 – the World Cup Starts Here”  from US Gold. Included in the box for is an entry form for a “Spot the Ball” competition. I’ve added some numbers and letters onto the scan, so answers in Battleship-style number format please. Mark your cross with care! :-)

It’s LGBT History Month during the month of February and 2013 is focusing on maths, science and technology.

With that in mind I thought I’d hastily construct some interestingly different Twitter icons in the style 1980′s micro computers. They are not perfect, but thought it was jolly fun! Please feel free to right click and grab or create your own! :) Can you guess which micro they are?

See the website lgbthistorymonth.org.uk for more information and a list of events, etc

“”Hang on a minute I gotta get’em on the bus!”

Due to a technical gremlinette the first 3 mins of the show including the beginning bespoke intro (with added Forest of Dean) are missing from the download. While I stitch them together and upload please enjoy here… :D

Join Auntie Anna live from sunny Kilburn, London as she returns from Christmas break for 3.07 hours of retro micro computer jolly fun and owl based chat on SLAY Radio (the home of Commodore 64* remixes).

Sweltering in sunny Kilburn, and now that England (and Sweden) are out of the football, you can soak up your tears with Auntie Anna and her magic lute filled retro micro computer knapsack of beepy sandwiches!

She plays your requests from the request bucket, and continues the very first remix.kwed.org remix count down up (RCDU ™) playing every C64 remix tune ever released from 2000-2012. There is much singing, owl worship, and we investigate the best television game show ever devised! The Interceptor!

“I like it!”

Beep Beep!

Anorak – you know it makes no sense!

“RFI, RSI, MFI… they all fall down…”
