The 8-Bit Sid-Chip Sandwich Show

From the ancient midsts of time please find silly things on film to the music of the Commodore 64!

8BSCSS_Episode 1 (2006)

Anna + Commodore 64 = 8BSCSS_1. The original episode from 2006 which contains the most interestingly different presenter skills, non sequential music selection, and low-fi photocopied back drop, ever put together over a number of afternoons. We meet Benchy for the first time in the beautiful Surrey countryside, listen to jolly owls and regardé many silly clips from various films including the casualty award winning “Anti-freeze”!

All lovingly restored from original footage with extra falling over, beefed up C64 SID music and a rather funky new ending!

8BSCSS_Episode 2 (2007)

Not content with 12 minutes of silly things, we went a bit crazy with the second episode which took in more “location filming” (well, Bayswater and Paddington) and evolved into a near 30 minutes retro computer extravaganza of jolly silliness. “You will only experience it once…”

Chugging along to the soundtrack of some of the best music a micro has sallied forth it’s the epic 8BSCSS_2! We meet Sam the Titler, who is really not content with his lot, “The Sandwich” (“yes, I know it’s a roll”), the frankly brilliant “What’s on the end of the Ben Daglish leash” with associated BroomRock filmette, Benchy is back with a twist, and the full complete (sadly interrupted) Auf Wiedersehen Monty from Rob Hubbard and Ben Daglish at the end is well worth staying awake for!

8BSCSS_2 – there is nothing like it! Thank cheesecake!

With already filmed location footage from the legendary nearly made 8BSCSS_Episode 3 false start in 2007 we have a rather geeky puzzle tribute to the wonder that is Doctor Who. Taking in various locations which The Doctor has visited in London we delve deeper into the recesses of Anna’s mind. There is even a Banksy in it. The prize is still up for grabs! It’s a tough one but the clues are all there!
