Welcome to the signed photograph website! The World Wide Art Project and hub of pointless pointlessness for a very good reason. My name's Anna - pleased to meet you and all who sail with you.

Since 2007 we have been attempting to inadvertently find 2190 random people who will have their photograph taken with the signed photograph of Arthur Bostrom. (APOTSPOAB = A Photograph Of The Signed Photograph Of Arthur Bostrom) Arthur Bostrom is most famously known for playing Officer Crabtree in the long running BBC comedy 'Allo 'Allo! and is a jolly nice chap.

The APOTSPOAB'ing began as a way of living with M.E.* (a kind of self fulfilling therapy quest if you like) and has evolved into a fun-phenomenon of daft proportions involving thousands of people and lots of silly things. We are not raising money.

So far by following the random trail all over Europe, we have met over 700 fabulous and interestingly different amazing people in many odd places, countries and costumes and travelled over 12,000 miles.

These include amongst others the real Father Christmas, Frank Sidebottom, Jeffrey Holland, U2 (kind of), Danny Wallace, David Icke, Richard Vranch, Red Dwarf's Danny John-Jules, Chris Barrie and Rob Llewellyn, and Vicki Michelle (Yvette from 'Allo 'Allo! itself!)

We're writing about our random adventures and later in the year there will be another round of thesignedphotograph multimedia lectures where you can catch up with the story so far.
